NOVEMBER

• Thanksgiving food baskets are delivered to 35 needy families

DECEMBER

• Club members accompany 35 handicapped and underprivileged children (chosen by their teachers and churches) on a Christmas shopping spree for gifts and toys they they would not otherwise receive

FEBRUARY

• Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet -- Citizens who have contributed positively to the well-being of the community are recognized. In addition, an Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer (police or fire) are recognized for their service to the community. The scholarship recipients from area high schools are recognized and presented with $1,000 scholarships.

MARCH OR APRIL

• During the week before Easter, club members visit the children in the University Medical Center and deliver a small personal toy and donate children's books which remain in the ward for future reading.

APRIL

• Annual Student Athlete Awards Banquet -- Student athletes who have not only excelled in their repective sport but also have maintained a positive grade point average are recognized.
